Overview¶
The Back-in-stock module helps customers stay informed when products are available again. It also helps sellers retain potential sales for out-of-stock items. This module lets customers subscribe to real-time notifications when products are restocked. This raises customers satisfaction and reduces the abandoned purchases. Sellers have a clear view of what their customers want through a simple, centralized back office interface. This helps sellers plan their inventory with ease.

Key features¶
The Back-in-stock module provides:
- Native integration with Virto Commerce Frontend.
- Notify me when in stock button: Automatically displays a subscription button on product detail pages when inventory reaches zero. Customers can opt into notifications without leaving the page.
- Self-service subscription management: Authenticated customers can view and manage their active subscriptions in a dedicated Back-in-stock list. They can remove subscriptions for products they no longer wish to track.
- Real-time email notifications: Triggers email notifications immediately when product inventory is updated from zero to a positive value. Notifications include product details and direct links to the product page.
- Automatic subscription cleanup: Removes outdated or fulfilled subscriptions to keep the system efficient.
- Back office subscription management: Allows administrators to view and manage customer subscriptions from the admin panel.
- Export & analysis support: Enables businesses to export subscription data for further analysis and reporting.
